Nosey Dogs’ First All-Scent Taster Day

February had Nosey Dogs hosting our very first All-Scent Taster Day where we welcomed owners and their dogs in to explore the incredible world of scent work for the first time.

Across the day teams got hands-on with scent detection, mantrailing, and an introduction to tracking, all set at our venue in #Worcestershire.

From the very start dogs were straight into the action, using their noses, solving problems, and discovering just how powerful their natural scenting abilities really are. We know, that scent work taps into one of a dog’s most important natural skills and gives dogs a safe, rewarding outlet that builds confidence, provides mental stimulation, and improves overall welfare.

From the day, our scent detection instructor Nat Dolton said:

“We had a brilliant day running our Nosey Dogs taster event with 13 teams joining us. We started with exercises that encouraged dogs and helped handlers understand more about their dogs ability. It was fantastic to watch both dogs and handlers grow in confidence and skill throughout the session. Huge thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a great day — we can’t wait to see you again soon!” 🐾👏
