Terms & Conditions

Booking & Payment Policy

​

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place on any NoseyDogs course, workshop, event, or 1-2-1 session

  • Spaces are not confirmed until payment is received. Bookings are accepted on a first-paid, first-served basis.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of booking will apply

  • No access to training will be permitted unless payment has been received in full prior to the session

  • Booking and refunds are subject to our policies associated. You will find these at the time of each of your bookings.

Cancellations & Refunds.

​​​All cancellations are subject to an administration & booking system fees, which will be deducted from any refund. Courses, Classes &

 

1–1 Sessions

​

  • More than 14 days before the start date:
    Full refund minus a £20 administration fee

  • 7–14 days before the start date:
    50% refund of the booking fee

  • Less than 7 days before the start date:
    No refund

  • Within 48 hours of the start date:
    No refund

  • No refunds for missed sessions or once a course has started

  • Sessions are non-transferable and not held over

 

Workshops & Events:

  • Refunds will only be issued if we can resell your place.

  • A £20 admin fee will apply.

Weather, Illness & Covid:

  • If Nosey Dogs cancels or reschedules due to weather, illness, or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a credit, alternative date, or refund.

  • If the event goes ahead but you choose not to attend, no refund will be given.

  • In the case of Covid-related disruptions, we will follow the latest Government guidance and may reschedule as necessary.

Session Duration & Attendance

  • Sessions are tailored to each dog’s mental and physical limits.

  • Trainers may shorten or end a session early to prioritise dog welfare.

  • If you arrive late, the session will not be extended or paused.

  • Missed time due to lateness cannot be recovered or refunded.

Equipment & Conduct

​

At NoseyDogs, we promote ethical and kind training. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Slip leads used for correction

  • Prong collars

  • Electric shock, vibration, or spray collars

  • Half-check or choke chains

  • Any tool or method that causes pain, discomfort, or fear

  • We operate a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, harsh, or confrontational behaviour towards dogs or people. We reserve the right to remove any person without refund if conduct is deemed unacceptable.

 

Dog Health & Welfare

  • Only healthy, fit-for-training dogs may attend.

  • Dogs must be free from contagious illnesses (e.g. kennel cough, vomiting, diarrhoea).

  • If your dog becomes unwell or is injured, please notify us immediately before attending.

  • If your dog has recently been in contact with a dog with kennel cough or other contagious conditions, do not attend.

  • Dogs from households with suspected or confirmed contagious illness must observe a 21-day exclusion period.

  • Bitches in season are not permitted to train.

  • You agree to notify NoseyDogs if your dog is diagnosed with a communicable disease shortly after attending a session, so other attendees can be informed.

Kennel Cough Policy

Kennel Cough is highly contagious. If your dog has symptoms (e.g. harsh dry cough, retching, sneezing, nasal discharge), do not attend training.

  • Isolation is required for 21 days from onset of symptoms or contact with an infected dog.

  • This policy applies even if your dog is vaccinated for kennel cough.

Liability

  • Participation in NoseyDogs training is entirely at your own risk.

  • You accept full responsibility for your dog’s behaviour and any damage or injury they may cause.

  • NoseyDogs, its trainers, venues, and third-party providers accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage to you, your dog(s), personal property, or others.

  • The Control of Dogs Act 1986 Section 21 applies to all NoseyDogs activities.

  • All incidents or injuries must be reported to a NoseyDogs team member immediately.

  • You are strongly advised to have public liability cover for your dog (e.g. via pet insurance or household policy).

  • Handlers must follow all instructions given by NoseyDogs instructors at all times

  • Dogs must remain under control with adequate space maintained between dogs, handlers, and vehicles

  • No approaching, greeting, or interaction with other dogs or handlers unless instructed

  • Dogs not actively working must remain secured in vehicles and settled

  • All training content, resources, handouts, videos, and images are the intellectual property of NoseyDogs.

  • These may not be copied, shared, or distributed without our written permission.

  • Filming or voice recording during training requires prior consent.

  • By attending training, you consent to appropriate photos/videos being taken and used for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing.

Final Notes

  • By booking any NoseyDogs service, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

  • These terms are subject to periodic updates.
