Service Description
Tracking Progression – UKTDA Foundation & Level 1 For anyone that has completed an introduction and want to work towards the UK Tracking Dog Association (UKTDA) Foundation Level and Level 1 regulations as well as just building up a reliable, structured tracking skill with your dog. Build methodical track-laying Learn to read and handle your dog’s tracking behaviours, Developing clear, confident article indications. Work as a team laying tracks and learning to read the terrain *Training is practical, bring sturdy footwear. Dogs will be present, so suitable for dogs that can work alongside others safely UKTD explained: Foundation Level Progressions will focus on completing a 2–3 leg track aged, and following another person’s footsteps. Approximately 100–150 metres it will include 90-degree turns and an end article. No article indication is needed but the dog must navigate each leg accurately and find the end. Level 1: A single laid track of approximately 500 metres and age between 30–60 minutes. A minimum of two article finds where the dog should show a known indication behaviour. This course is ideal for handlers aiming for assessment, skill development, or simply improving tracking reliability and understanding.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations are subject to a £10 administration & booking system fee, which will be deducted from any refund. Cancellations more than 7 days before the start of the course/class/consultation will receive a refund minus the £10 admin fee. If you cancel within 7 days, the cancellation fee is £30. For services priced under £30, the cancellation fee equals the full booking cost. Cancellations within 24 hours of the start date are not eligible for a refund. No partial or pro-rata refunds are given once a course has started. Exceptions may be made only in the most exceptional circumstances, at our discretion. National Nosework Association (NNA) Trials: To enter an NNA Trial, you must be a current NNA member and have passed the Official Recognition Test (ORT) for the level you’re entering, unless entering “Not for Competition,". Eligibility is more flexible and can be discussed. Please check that the venue is suitable for both you and your dog before entering. *No refunds will be issued If you can’t attend. Instead you may transfer your entry to someone else if they meet the eligibility requirements and you get permission from the Trial Official. Refunds are only given if the event is officially cancelled.
