Service Description
IMPORTANT - DOGS MUST BE HAPPY TO STAY IN THE CAR AS THE MAJORITY OF EXERCISES ARE DONE ONE DOG AT A TIME. MANTRAILING & SCENT DETECTION CAN BE BENEFICIAL FOR REACTIVE DOGS. HOWEVER, PLEASE GET IN CONTACT WITH US FIRST BEFORE BOOKING SO WE CAN CHAT THROUGH IF THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO INTRODUCE THEM TO THE SPORT. Ever wanted to have a go at something different with your dog? We all know that dogs have the most amazing noses and sense of smell. Sniffing is what they do naturally and they are brilliant at it. This taster session is designed to introduce you and your dog to the world of scent detection and harness their natural ability. It's a great way for you and your dog to work together as a team, building your bond whilst increasing your dog's confidence. It uses your dog's brain as they need to concentrate and focus on the task, and it is well accepted that mental stimulation can be more tiring than physical exercise alone. Each team will have the opportunity to try a taster of what mantrailing and scent detection are. This will then allow you to decide whether to sign up for any of our introductory courses before the real fun begins with real-life searches across varying environments.
